Hi, I’m Dave Fournier,
I am a lifelong Northwest Ohio resident, attorney, and father of three who is running for Ohio House District 44 to stand up for working families and bring common-sense leadership back to Columbus.
After graduating from St. John’s Jesuit, and the University of Toledo College of Law, my experience as a legal intern with municipal public defenders opened my eyes to how rigged systems hold hardworking people back and inspired my commitment to fight for fairness, opportunity, and justice for every family. |

I currently work with union and management trustees on the practical side of doing things right – following the rules, fixing problems promptly, and protecting the benefits people have earned. I’m running because Ohio needs that same practical, results-first approach to ensure we have strong public schools, affordable healthcare, and an economy that works for the people who do the work.
